Josh Cooper Yoga Josh offers yoga for adults and kids. He offers the acceptance and kindness he couldn't receive as a kid and the yoga he didn't have starting out.

This kind of practice can leave you feeling 5 to 25 years younger. A little older for kids. ;) Josh Cooper is a Toronto-born yoga instructor. A growing interest in yoga led Josh to attend courses, workshops and multiple ashram retreats prior to completing the Octopus Garden 200hr Yoga Fundamentals Program in 2013 and the 300hr Effective Teaching Program in 2014. That same year, he was certified in Restorative Yoga. In 2016, Josh completed a 100-hour yoga teacher immersion retreat with YuMee Chung. In 2017, Josh certified in Kids Yoga through Rainbow Kids Yoga and attended a 5-day Vipassana meditation retreat hosted by True North Insight. Josh graduated from the Yoga Detour DMO program in 2019. He teaches a diverse group of students from yoga studios to parks and festivals; sports teams to daycares. Josh leads yoga workshops for adults and kids and co-led a meditation group. When not doing yoga, you can often find Josh in the kitchen. Josh is an aspiring writer with a portfolio of 100+ unpublished stories of personal narrative.

This summer I have been feeling called to tie dye. It started with the idea that I could up cycle some older shirts looking less than prime. Now, I have come to see that there is a real craft to it. This is my first attempt at a Geode style tie dye. The last photo you can see the process where the shirt is submerged with ice with dye over the top. I am pretty happy with it and I also know that with some experience my craft will continue to improve.

A friend handed me this puzzle and said that it would drive me bonkers. He was right. I sometimes saw the patterns when I closed my eyes at night. This was definitely one of the most challenging puzzles I've done to date. I developed a taste for them over the pandemic. I wasn't going to preserve this puzzle as it's missing one piece but suggested that the imperfection adds something. Grateful for her help towards the end of this puzzle and in many things.
