Hi, I’m Althea!
& Calma was born from my own healing journey.

For years, my body was asking for gentleness.
A time of endometriosis and living with PCOS taught me what it feels like to be disconnected from your body, to push through pain, exhaustion, and stress because you think you have to or simply because that became your “normal”

But healing asked something different of me.
It asked me to slow down.
To listen.
To pour into myself in ways I never had before.

As I began tending to my nervous system, through rest, touch, energy work, and intentional care everything shifted. Not overnight, & not perfectly

Calma became a reflection of that journey.
A space rooted in softness, safety, and presence.
A reminder that healing doesn’t need to be aggressive to be effective.

I hold this space for anyone who’s tired of living in survival mode, especially those navigating chronic conditions, stress, or simply the weight of life.
