Here we grow again! So excited to introduce our new Resident Physiotherapist, Hinal Sethia!💪🏽

Here's a little about her:

"Hi everyone, I’m Hinal Sethia, a Resident Physiotherapist, and I’m excited to be joining For Health’s Sake, Kingsway. I focus on neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic/sports rehab, especially major joints, posture retraining, and overwork strains.

What I enjoy most about my work is helping people feel more confident in their bodies again, with hands-on care and forming a plan that feels simple and fits into day-to-day life.

I’ve always been happiest in motion and near water. I grew up doing a mix of sports, swimming and dance, and that love of movement is still a big part of who I am plus a love for anatomy and how the body recovers.

I’m excited to collaborate with the team here at For Health's Sake and support a whole-person approach to care."

🗓 Hinal's schedule at Kingsway starting February 25th:

Wednesdays: 10 am - 2:30 pm
Fridays: 2 pm - 8 pm

Can't wait for you all to meet her! 💛🖤

"If you’ve been dealing with jaw pain, clicking, tension, or even headaches, it could be related to TMJ dysfunction. The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) connects your jaw to your skull, and when it’s not moving properly, it can cause discomfort or pain.

What many people don’t realize is that chiropractic care can help. By improving alignment in the neck and jaw along with reducing tension in the surrounding muscles, we can relieve the pressure on the joint and can help to reduce pain and improve function. At-home exercises, massages and the application of heat can also help to relieve muscular tension.

If this sounds like something you’re experiencing, book an appointment for a comprehensive assessment and personalized care plan!"

"As seasons change, and days get shorter, many of us will experience increased stress and tension. Colder temperatures, end of year pressures, and a lack of vitamin D are just a few examples of factors which may take a toll on our mental and physical well-being during the colder seasons.

Massage can be a valuable tool in managing seasonal stress and promoting overall wellness. By targeting areas of tension and promoting relaxation, massage can help better your mood, improve sleep quality, and support immune function. Frequent massage sessions can also increase feelings of calm and clarity, making it easier to navigate the challenges that the colder months bring.

Massage therapy offers a multitude of benefits, some being; reduced muscle pain and inflammation, improved circulation, enhanced body awareness, and increased mobility. By incorporating massages into your self-care routine, you may see improvements in quality of life, reduced stress levels, and a general sense of increased well being."
