"It's not a cookbook.... We're adding the science to help extrapolate from what we find as it relates to the likely underlying mechanism of an individual's pain and dysfunction."

Another clip from my interview with the presenters of the upcoming seminar: Myofascial Trigger Points and Central Sensitization in Myofascial Pain Syndrome. We look forward to seeing you there June 22-23.

I interviewed Jay P. Shah, MD about the upcoming special seminar he and John Srbely, DC, PhD are presenting with us - Myofascial Trigger Points and Central Sensitization in Myofascial Pain Syndrome. June 22-23 in Toronto.

"...we're fascinated by trigger points and their clinical manifestation. Is the problem local...or is that a manifestation of an underlying physiological process."

Join us for the latest research and diagnostic methods that will equip you with new assessment tools to integrate next day.

Remembering Dr. Joseph Wong, MD, FRCPC, on the anniversary of his death. Many of you might remember him and his humour. He died on November 9, 2017. His contributions to the understanding of acupuncture in relation to the anatomy and physiology of the human body is immeasurable. Acupuncture Canada - and all the practitioners we have trained throughout the years - owes him a huge debt of gratitude. Joe is central to the evolution of medical acupuncture. Our thoughts are with his family.
