Angel Card of the Week
The Angel card for the w/o February 14th is Letting Go Of The Past. It is the past that has shaped our lives to where we are today, but, we do not need to live in the past or carry it with us daily. It is in the present that we manifest our future. Holding on to the past is a burden that weighs heavily on our shoulders and needs to be lovingly released and sent to the light. Keep the lessons of the past certainly, but let the rest go, as holding on only serves to keep us in that repetitive energy. Forgive and move forward.

For the w/o February 7th the Angel that is with us is Joy. She provides the highest of energy and is a wonderful omen that everything is possible. When we appreciate the gifts within each moment of our lives and stay centered in Joy, we will attract and create our present and future moments.

Angel Card of the Week
The Angel that surrounds us for the w/o January 24th is Daydream. She asks us to sit quietly, relax and open our mind to receiving, without directing our thoughts. It doesn't matter what the thoughts are about, ie. cooking a new recipe, reading a new book, thinking of a Spring gardening project, etc., because when we are in this receptive state it's amazing what new ideas and inspirations come to us. If you are one to journal then this is the time to put down all those new possibilities, ensuring that you will remember them when you are ready to start. Let these new ideas flow through and around you and enjoy the creativity that's about to begin.

Angel Card of the Week
For the w/o January 17th, the Angel that surrounds us is the Heart Chakra. As our Heart is the center within our physical bodies, we need to adjust it to the love that it holds inside. It is safe for us to love and be loved when we have an open heart. We can start by asking the Divine to send healing light energy into our hearts so we can forgive and release any hurtful and unforgiving thoughts and actions from ourselves and others. This way we bring the love to us instead of pushing it away. Let this Angel surround your Heart Chakra with beautiful pink light energy this week and focus on your healing.

Angel Card of the Week
Moonlighting is trying something 'NEW'. We are adding an Angel Card of the Week to compliment our Card of the Month series. With the uncertainly of external factors continuing into 2022, we feel that the gentle guidance of Angel messages can give us all the weekly lift we need to continue to move forward. The Angels are helping to guide our way so we may find some comfort in times of hardship.

For the w/o January 10th - the Angel Card of the Week is 'See Only Love'. The Angels are giving us a reminder to see ourselves, others and every situation through the eyes of Love. When we focus on Love, anything that's 'unloving' simply falls away. It's time to look past the negative personalities, and the ego of others, and see the Angel within them all. Let the light diminish the darkness.

Card of the Month - January
A New Year. This is a time when most of us take stock of what was working in our lives and what wasn't. Reviewing our 2021 goals or desires and seeing what was achieved and what needs to be carried over into 2022, helps to put the old behind us and gives us a refreshing new start. For me I want to be honest with who I am and what I want to continue to be both inwardly and outwardly. For the past year I have been reading daily passages from a book called Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach. This book was published in 1995, but Sarahs' wisdom is still very prevalent in today's time. She writes of 6 practical, creative and spiritual principles - gratitude, simplicity, order, harmony, beauty and joy. These 6 principles became a catalyst to help me define my life and how I wanted to live it everyday. In fact, I enjoyed reading it so much that I have started it all over again. My 2022 wish for each of you is to find your own 'Simple Abundance' this year, whatever that may be, and, when you do find it, live it with all your heart.

From an Angel card perspective - the card for January is Grace & Antoinette. They are the Angels that help us to see other people's inner strength and goodness. They encourage the Divine light to shine in all of us, removing the ego from issues and healing with forgiveness and compassion. So much hurt and judgment has filled our lives for the past 2 years. Isn't it time to listen to Grace & Antoinette and release those parts of ourselves as well as the actions that no longer serve us or our families.

From a Numerology card perspective - the card for January is Nbr 41 - Self Discipline. This card reminds us to bring more motivation and action into our being in order to improve our quality of life. Goals and dreams don't manifest on their own. They require our participation in order to take them to the next level. Surrender the outcome to the Divine and work on the ideas and the part that you are going to play in making your goals and dreams come true. The Universe will provide the opportunities, but you need to see them through.

From a Tarot card perspective - the card for January is Temperance XIV. This is a card of balance. It is about taking time to make sure that our reactions, decisions and words are appropriate when faced with an uncomfortable situation. Practicing patience, moderation and compromise will keep us grounded when integrating those opposing forces. Something to keep in mind when more than one agenda is being brought forward and we need to be receptive to all other ideas.

So far the 2022 cards are quite insightful and should prove to be an interesting month and a guide to the rest of the year.

The Card of the Month - September
A new month and a new season are now coming into our energies. It's hard to believe how fast the Summer has gone by. I love this September time of year personally, as the daytime weather is still beautiful, the nights are coolers for sleeping, it's my birthday month, AND, the kids go back to school. :)

From an Angel card perspective - the card for September is Leila. The Summer has been busy and noisy for most of us, and Leila invites us to escape into a natural tranquility of peace and quiet. Meditation is a wonderful way to do this. By quieting the mind and body for 10 minutes every day, sitting quietly, centering and once again balancing ourselves, we are renewed to take on our life's activities. Try it today and I know you won't be disappointed in how good you feel afterwards.

From a Numerology card perspective - the card for September is Nbr 57 - Teaching and Learning. September brings with it a significant time for learning and growth, where we can gain so much benefit from the wisdom of others. Funny how this card coincides with back to school. Perhaps it's time for you to take on an online course or to attend a night school presentation or to just start reading about a subject that interests you but you haven't had time to get into. On the other hand perhaps you should have faith in your own ability to teach and pass on valuable information to others from your lessons in life. Whatever choice you decide, start something new this month.

From a Tarot card perspective - the Major Arcana card for September is Nbr IX - The Hermit. He is a wonderful card filled with wise wisdom that he brings with peace and comfort in his solitude and quest for inner knowledge. The Hermit asks us to take time for careful contemplation, in order to reflect on our lives and find the inner wisdom that exists within us. Accessing this inner wisdom and knowledge helps us with important decisions and brings things into the proper context and perspective. A really lovely card.

The Full Moon of this Summer Season.
Were you looking up in the sky last night to see the Full Moon? It's the first Summer Blue Moon that we've seen in 5 years, and there won't be another Summer Full Blue Moon until August 30th-31st, 2023 (2nd Full Moon of that Month), and August 19th, 2024 (3rd Full Moon of that Month). We were lucky enough to see a Spring Blue Moon on May 18th, 2019 and a Fall Blue Moon on October 31th, 2020 but this Summer Blue Moon is a very special one.

You would have been delighted to see this Full Blue Moon in all its glory along with Venus near the western horizon, early in the night, as well as Jupiter and Saturn shining brightly from dusk until dawn.
When we usually hear about Blue Moons, it's because during one calendar month there are (3) Full Moons due to the Moon cycle of 29.5 days. However, every three years or so we'll have a Season where based on when the Full Moon appears, we will have a (4th) Full Moon.

The term Blue Moon or Once in a Blue Moon as it's also referred to, is due to it's rarity, not because the Moon is Blue in colour. However, a traditional definition of a Blue Moon is the (3rd) Full Moon in any Season where there are (4) Full Moons. Meaning what exactly. Our Summer 2021 Season starts on June 20th and ends on September 22nd. We are having (4) Full Moons this Summer Season, and the third one of last night, August 22nd, was called a Blue Moon.

According to the Farmers' Almanac, the August Full Moon is known as the Full Sturgeon Moon as the sturgeon fish of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain are said to be most readily caught during this Full Moon. The Algonquin and First Nations people, call this Moon the Corn Moon when the Full Moon is close to September or in that actual month.

I always recommend looking up towards the night sky whenever possible. Seeing the Moon shining so brightly with the millions of Stars surrounding it, brings me back into balance and reminds me of how small we actually are in our galaxy.

Card of the Month - April
April is here and like many of you I was celebrating the Divine on Easter weekend. This Easter had me thinking about my oneness within the Universe, and an all knowing that there is a greater power always watching over me and supporting me without me consciously being aware of it. Staying true to my authentic self and continuing to keep my inner faith close to me, is what helps to guide me through any days of uncertainty. How do you feel this month?

From an Angel card perspective, the card for April is Adriana, the Angel of leading us toward the answer to our prayers. By quietly listening we will hear her communicate with us through our intuition, thoughts and dreams. She is very positive and provides us with ideas that urge us to take action and make changes in our lives. A great Angel to have in your corner when moving forward into unknown territory, as her support helps to give us the courage we may need.

From a Numerology card perspective, the card for April is Nbr 19 - Pride. How many times have you let your Pride get in the way of improving a situation because you felt you were right and refused to see the other side? Did you know that by admitting when we are wrong, we raise our vibration and help ourselves get out of our own way to create a happy, harmonious life. We just need to let go of being in control of everything and be willing to let others also experience what is important to them. Humility and compromise are what bring us closer to our dreams, not conflict or aggression.

From a Tarot card perspective, the Major Arcana card for April is The Emperor. He is a very strong, powerful and dynamic male energy that will surround us this month. The Emperor brings with him financial stability, ambition and self-achievement. He is a good card to have when working on your business or career, and he is supportive and level headed with regard to emotions in our relationships. Call on the Emperor to guide you when making any major decisions this month, and notice how much more inner strength there is within you when you do.

I can tell you that my spirits have been lifted moving into April, just by knowing that longer days along with warmer weather are on the way. Whatever you are attempting this April month, know that there are forces working in the background to love and support you in making decisions for yourselves or your families. Dig deep into your own inner faith and move forward into Spring with a renewed energy. I know that I will.

Card of the Month - March
Pinch, punch, the first of the Month. My Dad used to say that to my sister and I every new month. We both continued on with the tradition for each other, sparking this wonderful memory of our Dad together. Memories are what help to keep our loved ones close to us. Look into your own memories of your loved ones and you will find something I'm sure that continues to bring a smile and a feeling of warmth into your heart. Now take in a deep, meditative breath of the new fresh March air, knowing that Spring is on its way and a revitalized feeling is within us.

From an Angel card perspective - the card for March is Astara. She is the Angel of Dreams and Desires who reaches for the stars and doesn't take no for an answer. Now is the time to start believing that you can achieve abundance in whatever form you choose. Raise your standards and allow yourself to be inspired and know that by taking the first step toward your Dreams, the Universe will provide you with the tools you need to succeed. Ask for help and Astara will guide you.

From a Numerology card perspective - the card for March is Nbr 81 - Leadership. Be a beacon of light so that you can guide others who need some help, by encouraging, motivating and inspiring them as you walk alongside each other. Continue to be empathetic and compassionate with those who look to you for guidance, and the gracious feeling of being in service will be with you.

From a Tarot card perspective - the Major Arcana card for March is Nbr 3 - The Empress. She is so nurturing and loving and helps us with growth and prosperity in our creative or work experiences. The Empress encourages us, all while bringing happy conclusions to that which we have put our efforts into. She brings families together and provides good and happy news about relationships in a positive way. Such a lovely card.

As I look out my window, I can see the snow flurries, hear the wind and the feel of cold weather return for today. However, in my heart I feel the warmth of a new season coming to us all and the hope that it brings the optimism and renewed energy that we can all use. Enjoy this month as the days get longer and the weather gets warmer.

Card of the Month - February

Apart from my usual monthly cards for February - Angel, Numerology and Tarot, I think that this month is really all about Love. There is a romantic love for your spouse or partner. There is a family love for your children, parents, and extended family. There is a pet love for your beloved furry companions. There is a platonic love for your friends that are so close to you, and there is a general love for life itself. When we open ourselves up to Love, we are able to accept each other without judgment or fear of comparison, enabling us to bring into our hearts a feeling of honesty, trust and most importantly compassion.

From an Angel card perspective - Archangel Uriel shows up for February. He is the Angel of Psychology. He works with us helping to heal toxins from our thoughts and emotions. He is wonderful for helping to release anger and unforgiveness from our hearts, that we have held toward others or perhaps ourselves. We only need to ask him and he will be there showing us the steps to take. How fitting that Uriel should show up for this month of Love.

From a Numerology card perspective - the card for February is Nbr 8 - Manifestation. It is now time for us to realize and action the power of our minds and abilities, in order to manifest our hopes and desires. For too long now we have been stuck in this perpetual cycle of chaos, similar to Ground Hog Day. However, when we surrender the outcome to the Divine and realize that through the Law of Attraction and Manifestation we all have the ability to monitor our doubts, worries and fears that are filled with negativity, and turn them into a positive outcome, by appreciating what we already have and will have again soon if we all work together.

From a Tarot card perspective - the Major Arcana card for February is Nbr 2 - The High Priestess. She represents mysteries and the duality of opposing forces, coupled with our need to recognize some of our own potential perhaps not yet explored. Following our intuition and trusting our instincts, we can see that we may have overlooked something important and need to followup on it. The High Priestess is not worried about what others think, as she is very secure in her own knowledge of matters. She gives us the courage to make our own decisions with wisdom and creativity. She is such a lovely card.

My hope for this February is that it will be a warm but light hearted month for you, lifting all the worries from previous months, with a knowing that when we all work together, love each other with kindness, and, above all keep hope in our hearts, then only good will come to us.

Card of the Month - January 2021
Happy New Year 2021!! I feel so much gratitude and joy for bringing this new year into my heart and my home. I wish for you all to experience the same as you inhale 2021 and exhale 2020. Now is the time to determine your hopes and plans for yourself and/or your family. Thoughtful, realistic and simple steps need to be considered this year, as we continue to navigate through this pandemic.

From an Angel card perspective - the card for January is Daniel, the Angel of Marriage. It is important to heal any past wounds related to your relationship with yourself and your significant other. Breathe out any negative energies you may be holding onto and release them to the Universe. Forgiveness of yourself and others is an important step to moving forward in any relationship. Be honest and considerate of others feelings when discussing touchy subjects, and decide to make an effort to avoid repeating the same issues this year.

From a Numerology card perspective - the card for January is Number 81 - Leadership. Now is the time to lead and guide others who walk along beside you on your path. Take the time to motivate and inspire them to be successful in whatever they attempt to do and work on. Be a compassionate leader and be gracious with your time and energy when mentoring others, as they will appreciate it when they know you have their best interests at heart.

From a Tarot card perspective - the Major Arcana card for January is Number 1 - The Magician. He is such a beautiful card. Just like the new beginnings of 2021, the Magician represents new creative potential and power - the beginning. Determination, concentration and will power are what drives your success story, and this card will give you the confidence to take on anything you put your mind to. Go for it!!

I wish for you all a new beginning this January. Let's fill this month with positive energy, love and joy, and continue these feelings as part of our daily routine for the rest of the year.
