Walking the show floor at IDS 2026, we were able to experience some unique exhibits that were brought to life.
Across exhibits, we saw a collective shift toward spaces that are warmer, richer, and more expressive. Color is confident, materials feel grounded and tactile, and form is used to invite connection rather than perfection. There’s a growing appreciation for interiors that tell stories, layer history with modernity, and balance craft with emerging technology.
What stood out most wasn’t any single aesthetic, it was the intention behind it. Spaces are being designed to support emotion, adaptability, and individuality, reflecting how people actually live, work, and gather today.
