Help Support Veronika Kontorovich Lets join together to help support the Kontorovich Family. Veronika suffers from a large benign tumour extending into the brainstem.

She experiences walking problems, numbness in her face and tongue, altered sensation of the right side of the body, freezing and burning in nature, dizziness all the time, vertigo and imbalance, as well as hearing problems. Due to the tumour she has a difficult time focusing her sight, she cannot look from side to side, and constantly feels nauseous as a result of the vertigo. While she underwent surgery in 2012 to decrease the size of the tumour, surgeons are unable to completely remove the tumour because of its contact with nerves on the brain. Further, the tumour continues to grow and her condition continues to worsen. Doctors are unable to find a solution to her condition. The only suggestion was surgery every 3 years to slightly push the tumour away from her brain. This will not solve her symptoms, because the tumour will continue to grow and move back towards the brainstem. For those who know Veronika, she is a very bright, loving and knowledgable individual. She was employed as a teacher at Seneca college for a computer studies class. As a result of her condition, she had no choice but to quit her job and has been stuck in bed for months. She is unable to assist within or outside of the home. Her responsibilities have fallen on her children and husband, who are finding it difficult to sustain the home and finances. It is devastating to watch this vibrant woman be stuck in bed. Lets join together and assist however we can. We have spoken with the Kontorovich family and it seems that any financial aid will help Leon (the husband) pay for her treatment, provide Veronika with support for basic daily needs, and support their three kids. СПАСЕМ ВЕРОНИКУ!

Дорогие люди- человеки!
Спасем замечательную молодую женщину, воспитывающую троих детей: двух мальчиков- подростков и шестилетнюю девочку. У Вероники Контарович 1973 года рождения- опухоль головного мозга.
Несмотря на то, что она не злокачественная, случай чрезвычайно редкий- удалить ее невозможно, т к часть ее заходит в глубь ствола головного мозга. После первой операции по частичному удалению и чистке, состояние ухудшилось. Вероника постепенно теряет способность двигаться и говорить, страдает от постоянных мучительных болей. Лимит социальной помощи закончился. В Канаде свои законы. Муж вынужден много работать, дети учиться. Родных рядом нет. Поэтому нужна сиделка. Очень нужны средства для покупки электрической коляски, кресла для туалета, лекарства и многое другое. А главное- нужна помощь нейрохирурга. Операция в рамках медицинской страховки не принесла положительных результатов, а частная стоит немало!
Больно и невозможно смотреть, как мучается эта стойкая женщина и ее близкие. Но Вероника не сдается. Она верит , что встанет на ноги и вернется к нормальной жизни.
Мы очень надеемся на ваше неравнодушие и помощь. Как говорится " с миру - по нитке". Красные, зеленые, голубые банкноты- это только бумажные знаки. Но если мы соберем их все понемногу , то сможем совершить чудо и спасти Веронику!
