I want to share a little bit about my areas of focus:
Person-Centred Approach
Individuals have the capacity to heal themselves and that they know themselves best. My person-centred counselling approach focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment that empowers clients to explore their thoughts and feelings and to find their own solutions to their problems.
Existential Counselling
Life is inherently meaningful and individuals have the capacity to make choices that shape their lives. My existential counselling approach helps clients explore their values, beliefs, and purpose in life, and to find meaning in their experiences.
Strengths-Based Counselling
Individuals have unique strengths, abilities, and resources that can help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals. My strengths-based counselling approach helps clients identify and build on their strengths, and to develop resilience and self-efficacy.
Emotion-Focused Counselling
Emotions are an essential part of the human experience and can influence our thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. My emotion-focused counselling approach helps clients explore and process their emotions, and to develop emotional awareness and regulation skills.
Mindfulness-Based Counselling
Mindfulness can help individuals cultivate awareness, compassion, and acceptance in their lives. My mindfulness-based counselling approach integrates mindfulness practices and principles into therapy, helping clients develop greater self-awareness, stress reduction, and relaxation.
