We are excited to announce that Beaver Valley Recreation is organizing an evening of fun with a purpose. This event will include wine tasting, charcuterie, desert and a glass of wine. Learn about dementia in interactive ways. Donate to receive tickets for the Basket Draw. Meet new friends and see old friends all in the beautiful setting of Mountain Soul Winery. Funds raised will go to Greater Trail Hospice Society to support future dementia awareness activities.

To get tickets on your credit card, call Jayme at 250-231-7260. Thank you to our generous sponsors, including Platinum Sponsor Teck, Gold Sponsors Columbia Power and Beaver Valley Lion's Club.

On Friday, the Dementia Project Invites you to help create a compassion quilt. We are inviting folks to write about compassion on fabric squares. Later, these squares will be sewn together to create a Compassion Quilt that will be displayed in various locations in the Lower Columbia.
Join us at the Community Connect Fair where you can share your insights on compassion in writing or drawing. The Fair is happening on April 25 from 11 am - 2 pm at the Waneta Mall (in the old Zellars space).

The Dementia Project will be at the Community Connect Fair on Friday April 25 from 11:00 am - 2:00pm.

At the booth, you will be invited to make a quilt square on the the theme of Compassion with no sewing involved! Our project is promoting compassion towards people living with dementia and their care givers but compassion is a quality that many folks could use these days.

Please come take part in this community effort. We will display the finished quilt in locations around the Lower Columbia.
