My beautiful client came in with migration above and below the upper lip, making her lip appear heavier/smaller/uneven.

In the following photos, her lips and perioral area were dissolved and refilled with careful consideration ☺️

Dissolving and refilling must be done at least a few days apart. Sometimes, more than 1 dissolving session is required.

Chin filler! One of the easiest ways to slim the face and chisel out the jawline. 💉📐

1 syringe was used here to create a ‘V’ shape without adding too much projection from the side. We also injected the pre-jowl area to blend the chin in with her jawline. In addition, we pre-treated with Botox to relax her tight muscle and prevent migration❗️

⚠️ FILLER SAFETY. This post is not intended to scare, rather educate patients. The following images are not my own.

In the first photo, blood has been pulled back (aspirated) into the syringe prior to filler injection. This indicates the needle was inside of an artery under the skin (vessel that supplies our face with blood/oxygen) and we should not inject.

Injecting filler in an artery can ⚠️ block blood flow (vascular occlusion) resulting in pain, coolness, growing discolouration and tissue death if untreated (necrosis). Early detection is important to dissolve the filler and retrieve normal functioning.

In my practice I do my very best to inject safely❗️This entails a thorough understanding of anatomy while considering variations, experience with different techniques and proper complication management. If you know me, you know I always choose to inject in the ‘more safe’ ways and ensure my patients are well educated. You can trust me to be honest and turn your down if a treatment is inappropriate for you.
