The principles include:

“How was your follow up with the neurologist? What did they recommend?”

I’ve asked this question many times, and often my clients with a brain injury have difficulty recalling the details of their appointment. This may result in misinformation or poor adherence to recommendations. This is an easy compensatory strategy to not only help with recall, but also to promote understanding.
