👉🏼Often, we mistake intensity for depth, words that sound profound but aren’t anchored in lived truth. True emotional depth isn’t about how much someone says or feels in the moment, but how safely they hold space for vulnerability their own and others.
🍃In my therapeutic work, I see this often: people learning to discern who is truly capable of emotional connection versus who only mirrors it. The signs are subtle but clear consistency over charm, accountability over words, presence over performance.
❤️🩹✨Healing invites us to recognize the difference between those who sound deep and those who live deep. One speaks to impress; the other speaks to connect.
