👉🏼Often, we mistake intensity for depth, words that sound profound but aren’t anchored in lived truth. True emotional depth isn’t about how much someone says or feels in the moment, but how safely they hold space for vulnerability their own and others.

🍃In my therapeutic work, I see this often: people learning to discern who is truly capable of emotional connection versus who only mirrors it. The signs are subtle but clear consistency over charm, accountability over words, presence over performance.

❤️‍🩹✨Healing invites us to recognize the difference between those who sound deep and those who live deep. One speaks to impress; the other speaks to connect.

💭The moral of the story? Not all “oceans” run deep. 🌊

Racism and Islamophobia exist everywhere even in social work. These systems affect clients, practitioners, and communities in ways we can’t ignore.

I’m working on a podcast that dives into these issues sharing stories, insights, and reflections. 🎙️ It’s still in the editing phase, but coming very soon!

💬 From this short clip, what caught your attention or made you think? I’d love to hear your reflections in the comments.

💘At the start of a relationship, everyone’s on their best behaviour, small gestures, sweet messages and little acts of thoughtfulness are a regular occurrence. 💌 It’s exciting, it’s new, and it feels effortless.

😥But once the novelty fades, it’s easy to get complacent… to forget that love is not just felt, it’s actively nurtured. 🌱

👉🏼This is where being intentional about your partner matters most, checking in, asking meaningful questions, staying curious, and showing up in ways that make them feel seen and valued every single day. ❤️

Back in May, I read the book: You Can, But You Don’t Want To. If You Want To, You Can by . It’s taken me some time to sit with it, reflect, and highlight the parts that truly stayed with me. 📖✨

This book is filled with wisdom for the mind, body, and soul, reminding us how deeply connected they really are. It challenges us to explore the ‘why’ behind our actions while offering practical steps toward a healthier, more intentional life. 🌱

Check out some of the quotes that resonated with me and if you haven’t already, I highly recommend grabbing your copy! 📖✨

Not all challenges in relationships are red flags 🚩

Some are just growing pains.
But vulnerability? That’s where the real difference shows up.

✅In a healthy relationship, your fears and flaws are held, not used against you.

This post explores how challenges and vulnerability can either build deeper connection or reveal emotional danger.

💬 Which part resonated most with you?

🍃Not everyone who opens up is ready to let you in.

💃🏻🕺The push and pull dance is very taxing on the nervous system, and does not add security that connections need to grow.

♥️Matched energy and effort is your birthright!

🔥Another podcast coming soon on this very important topic.

This poem is a deeply personal reflection, written in honour of a family member and past clients who struggled with overwhelming pain and attempted to end their lives. It speaks to their despair, the search for peace, and the hope for a love that transcends this world.

Let these words be a reminder to approach one another with compassion and understanding—because even in the darkest moments, connection can be a lifeline.

🌿✨ Unlocking the Hidden Worlds Within ✨🌿

Plant medicine has a way of opening doors we didn’t even know existed—doors to the subconscious mind, spiritual awakening, and worlds beyond the ordinary. It’s a journey into the depths of the soul, and a deeper connection to self and the universe unfolds. 🌌💫

Through this sacred process, I discovered healing and a profound understanding of the unseen realms that shape our lives.

✨ Coming Soon: My New Book ✨

I’m beyond excited to share something deeply personal and transformative with you all—my new book is on its way! 📖✨♥

Through raw poems and reflections, I explore the complexities of trauma, addiction, loss, and resilience. This isn’t just a collection of words—it’s an honest journey through the shadows and into the light. It’s for anyone who has ever felt broken but still found the strength to rise again.

Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks as I prepare to release this labor of love into the world. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. 🌿✨
