Do I wish I could go back and help those moms more? ABSOLUTELY! But I’m so thankful it unlocked this strategy for me because WOW things are so different now!

Most moms (and doulas 🤭) never learn this and it shows.

Comment “STRATEGY” and I’ll send you how to leave your birth knowing you were in control 👇

I used to think hospital birth meant I had to be ready for a fight…

most people think a doula is there to advocate

and I will if I need to 💪🏼

but the goal is that you don’t need me to

that’s what actually creates calm births

It wasn’t even cold out 🙈😆

The thing I see with first time moms repeatedly is how much they prepare for what labour will be like and what type of birth they’d like, but they all miss 1 extremely important thing: prepping for how to actually have that birth in a hospital setting.

And that’s what’ll catch you off guard.

It’s not the contractions.

It’s the environment.
The questions.
The decisions.
The pressure you didn’t expect.
The policies.

And if you don’t already know how to navigate that?

You will feel it.

→ overwhelmed
→ unsure
→ out of control

This is what makes or breaks your birth experience.

If you want to walk in calm, confident, and prepared…

There’s so much you can do to change your hospital birth experience and outcomes for the better. Comment “HOSPITAL BIRTH” for my guide.

I almost quit being a doula after my first two hospital births.

The policies.
The pace.
The pressure.
(Some of the staff…)

It felt overwhelming.

But once I understood how the hospital system actually works…the fear disappeared.

And now I LOVE hospital births. 🤯🫶🏼

I even had an amazing hospital birth for my third baby.

Because when you know how to navigate the environment, birth feels completely different.

There are two types of parents who walk into the hospital.

The ones who understand the system…
and the ones who hope it goes well.

Those births look very different.

Most nurses and doctors are kind people.

But they still work inside a system built around policy, routine, and intervention.

If you don’t understand that system, birth can feel overwhelming very fast.

But when parents know how to navigate it?

The fear disappears.

They know what to ask.
They know when to pause.
They know how to stay calm even when things change.

And those are the parents who end up with the calmest hospital births.

So I created a course that teaches you exactly how to do that.

Because walking into the hospital unprepared shouldn’t be the norm.

Comment CALM BIRTH and I’ll send you the course.
