We’re excited to share some great news!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Rural Medicine Department (DLRI) at the University of Calgary, our clinic is now the proud owner of a brand-new AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

We’re very grateful to be able to add this life-saving piece of equipment to our clinic — though we sincerely hope it gathers plenty of dust and never has to be used!

We have an excellent Nurse Practitioner taking new patients here at the clinic. She is filling up fast and if you are looking for a Primary Care Practitioner please go to our website and get registered. An invitation from Ava Connect will follow shortly. Ava Connect is our online booking and communication portal, where you can book appointments, view results, and message clinic staff.

Nurse Practitioners scope is largely similar to a GP in a clinical setting, they are able to order needed test, refer to specialists, etc. Patients are encouraged to have either a Family Doctor OR a Nurse Practitioner as their Primary Care Provider as apposed to one of each.

With confirmed Measles cases in the Airdrie area, we wanted to share some important information. We ask that patients experiencing these symptoms to please call 811 before coming into the clinic. If you are unsure of your vaccination status, please call public health or log into www.myhealthrecords.ca. We are asking all patients that come into the clinic that are experiencing these symptoms to please notify staff right away and to wear a mask. Thank you for your co-operation.

Thank you so much to the residents of Crossfield. The Christmas gift bags for the seniors at the manor were delivered today with more headed to the Crossfield Christmas Hampers program. Your generosity helped fill the bags and warm the hearts of the recipients. They expressed great appreciation and wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Special thank you the two young elves who helped us with deliveries!

Women's Health News - To offer alternatives for pap testing, Nurse Tiffany has completed her training and is accepting Crossfield Clinic patients due for their Pap Test. Dr. Marc will still do your yearly physical exam, however, you can now choose to do the pap with Dr. Marc or with Nurse Tiffany.

If you're unsure if you are due for your pap test, please check your AHS My Health app. To book your appointment, please log on to AvaConnect. Appointments can now be booked online with Nurse Tiffany.
