1. Q: Am I too old to practice yoga?
A: absolutely not! If you can breathe, you can practice yoga. Yoga is a lifelong practice that teaches health and mindfulness which means knowing your limits based on where you are at with your life. When you sign up for class, fill in the health questionnaire honestly to give me an idea of what precautions or restrictions to take. Always check with your doctor if you are new to yoga and have certain health conditions such as pregnancy, high blood pressure or diabetes.
2. Q: Do I need yoga clothes for yoga class?
A: No! Anything that is comfortable for exercise can be worn for yoga class.
3. Q: What should I bring for yoga class?
A: Just your mat for now. Props are provided here and soon my matted studio will be complete also 😁
4: Q: What style of yoga do you teach?
A: My formal training is in vinyasa style yoga. Vinyasa yoga is a fast paced flow and moves the body and distracts the mind from chatter while engaging and lengthening the muscles. However, private yoga lessons will be planned accordingly based on the students stage in life and yoga goals.
5: Q: What seminars will be offered at Wolfe Wellness?
A: Starting this fall there will be ”Yoga for Moms”, helping moms stretch, move, feel their best while connecting to their inner core. The session will be 6 weeks long and once a week Saturday mornings at 10am.
There will also be 50+ yoga for individuals over the age of 50 ready to move their bodies and restore their vitality. Ladies: did you know that yoga poses can dramatically improve and even remove symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes?!!
This winter there will be fire side yoga to warm the heart and ignite the spirit
