Celestial Bliss Birth Doula My name is Meghan, and being a Doula is the most rewarding thing I have ever chosen to do! In October 2012 I made the decision to be a doula.

A birth Doula is a nonmedical person who assists women before, during, after childbirth, and her partner/family, providing information, physical and emotional support After giving birth to my beautiful daughter in January 2011, I had a fast birth and felt very alone. My midwives never showed and I was dealing with nurses who unfortunately thought I didn't know what I was taking about when explaining how far along I was. over the course of time I realized how
important birth is for women whether it is your first, or your fifth, it is an experience that is never forgotten. Being a woman myself who wanted no one in the labour room, I now understand the importance of having that emotional, physical, informational support and don't want any woman to feel alone like I did. I am so excited to be a doula at Celestial Bliss and working with women and their families!

Something I never shared with anyone was the thought behind my logo ...not only does it depict a mom and baby but it depicts the initials CBB (Celestial Bliss Birth) within the design💕
