General Swedish Massage, TMJ Disorders, Cupping, Reiki Susanne is the mother of 2 grown daughters.

Susanne Carey graduated with Honours and is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. With a lifetime of experience helping others she takes pride in being able to effectively and proactively assess the needs of her clients. Through assessment, communication and rapport building she works with her clients to determine the safest, best and most effective treatment for their individual needs. Susanne is passionate about helping her clientele meet and exceed their rehabilitation goals through education, and prevention by utilizing both her massage and physiotherapy assistant skills. With the goal of continuous improvement, Susanne seeks out new treatment techniques and courses as they become available to remain on the cutting edge of healing and well-being. In her spare time Susanne is an avid gardener and sports enthusiast. She also enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering her time with various events.

World Menopause Day, October 18th.

As this day and event approach it felt like the perfect opportunity to share what direction my next round of professional development is going in. I am actively working towards becoming a Peri/Post Menopause informed practitioner!!

Hormonal shifts can impact many things from soft tissue health and recovery as well as the way we perceive pain. Treatments that may have worked previously may no longer be as effective. It is a confusing time for many women as they search for answers to explain what is happening to their bodies.

Ultimately my goal is to assist you to reach better treatment outcomes through an educated and informed approach to this phase of our lives....
