Service Spotlight: Registered Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapy provides powerful, customized relief for pain, tension, and stress while supporting physical recovery and mental well-being. Our registered massage therapists collaborate closely with chiropractors, physiotherapists, and other specialists to design personalized sessions that may include deep tissue massage for chronic tension, Swedish massage for relaxation and stress relief, myofascial release to enhance mobility, and practical at-home stretching tips for ongoing self-care.

Eligible Veterans receive 15 treatments per year through VAC. RMT helps manage a wide range of conditions from PTSD, anxiety, and depression to neck/back/spine issues, shoulder problems, elbow, wrist/hand, hip/pelvis, knee, ankle, and foot concerns by delivering muscle relief, better circulation, faster injury recovery, reduced stress, and enhanced overall relaxation.

Last week we hosted an info session for Veteran contractors at 5 CDSB Gagetown. About 35 Veterans stopped by, grabbed some snacks, and learned how Echelon Wellness can help with tailored treatments, assessments, and care designed specifically for their needs. The conversations and feedback were truly positive and appreciated. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and took the time to connect.

On January 24, our friends at the Sea to Sea for PTSD Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter hosted a fantastic dance and silent auction fundraiser at the Royal Canadian Legion, St.John's branch 1.

What an incredible night supporting such a vital organization. They're doing important work to break the stigma around PTSD, raise awareness, and help the PSP, Veterans, Military, RCMP and First Responder communities.

Physiotherapy delivers personalized, evidence-based care to restore mobility, relieve pain, and enhance long-term physical health. Our physiotherapists work collaboratively with chiropractors, massage therapists, and osteopaths to create tailored treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, pain-reducing modalities, and self-management education.
