Language barriers can make accessing services challenging. We use an interpretation service so you can access programs in your language of choice. Accessing support should be as easy as saying hello.

Chris Costa, community champion, completed a 24-hour walk to support the vital work taking place at Grand River Hospital, Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region, and Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health.

Through radio interviews, social media messaging, and reaching out to his connections - Chris not only raised awareness for the growing needs for our services, but also raised funds that will support the three organization’s work.

Chris is already dreaming big about next year's fundraiser - stay tuned!

Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when enslaved Black communities in Texas, USA learned they’d be free – two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. Today is about celebrating Black freedom and achievement, while inviting us to examine what we can do better and remember why Black lives matter.

Learn more about Juneteenth and the history of slavery in Canada via “The story of slavery in Canada” found in our linktree: https://linktr.ee/caminowellbeing

Check out ok2bme.ca for wellbeing and mental health supports and resources offered through Camino’s OK2BME Program.
