💇🏽♀️Have you seen those ads for hair gummies?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So f***ing DISTRESSING.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Is candy really going to make my hair grow back!? 🤦🏻♀️no. it's not. Let's get to the real issues here ladies. Hair loss is MULTIFACTORIAL! Meaning, it has many many many causes! (I'm shouting because I hope the internet bots can here me and stop sending me ads for super serums and gummies that'll never awaken my hair follicles from their deep slumber!!!!)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
AND, if one more person tells me hair loss is a normal part of ageing, I'm going to flip (a table, where my hairbrush is resting, with all the hairs that fall out!@*)$*@!!)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*pause for composure*⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💆🏻♀️
There are plenty of causes of hair loss in women:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Androgenic alopecia, Female pattern hair loss ( ) due to hormonal imbalances seen in PCOS, hypothyroid, nutrient deficiency, stress, side effects of medication, and dietary and lifestyle changes, and more!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So while I really don't think hair gummies are going to do boo all for hair growth, I do think it's about time we sat down and talked about the real causes and effects of hair loss in women. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As someone who's tried all the home remedies for scalp and hair health, I'm tired of the false promises of an overnight beautiful mane. Real problems need real solutions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
