Every year on December 3rd, the world comes together to recognize the International Day of Persons with Disabilities - a day dedicated to celebrating the strengths, voices, and contributions of people with disabilities. It's also a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility to create communities where every person is included, respected, and able to participate fully.

This day calls us to push beyond awareness and move toward action: breaking down barriers, championing accessibility, and amplifying the stories and leadership of people with disabilities.

When we build a world that welcomes everyone, we all move forward.

2025 has been an amazing year!
We would like to thank our community for supporting the đź’š

And we encourage everyone to continue to share, like and follow CPSupportCanada and so we can continue to provide resources to families for their children to smile and play.

We have been able to provide over $30,000 in bursaries to families with children living with CP so far!

There is no donation required!
One CLICK on adds $10 to the project every time you do so.

That’s right - with the click of a button, you can directly help a child with cerebral palsy get the funding they need to engage in play and have fun with friends, while raising awareness in the community for this important initiative.

Play is where friendships form, confidence grows, and childhood takes shape. When children of all abilities can join in, they don't just participate - they belong. Inclusive play ensures every child gets to experience the joy, connection, and memories that make childhood whole.

Together, we can help make it possible.

With every 👍, ❤️ or SHARE CPSupportCanada generates funds toward these bursaries for a child living with cerebral palsy to help them engage in fun activities and enjoy just being a kid.

If you have a child with Cerebral Palsy and live in Canada, we provide monthly bursaries to support children living with Cerebral Palsy and their families to engage in activities they love.

Applications are short and sweet - with no financial disclosure and no strings attached to how the funds are used. We trust families know best what their child needs.

You can submit applications here:

This is amazing! Lincon was honoured as the Kid Captain at last Saturday's Vancouver Whitecaps FC game! He was selected as a deserving camper from the Zajac Ranch summer camp to receive this very special opportunity from the Whitecaps and he used this opportunity to promote CP Support Canada and the CP Smile Project bursary on the big screen. Thank you Lincon đź’š

đź’šKnowledge is Power
Our mission is to empower parents with knowledge and information to ask the right questions and make informed decisions that affect their child’s future.

When parents have access to the latest medical research, they can advocate for their child’s needs more effectively.

They can:
đź’š ask better questions,
đź’š communicate more effectively with healthcare providers; and
💚 make more informed decisions about their child’s care and their child’s future.

One of many successful out of court settlements - $7 million.

Obstetrician failed to recognize and respond appropriately to an abnormal contraction pattern following induction of labour with oxytocin.

We work with a team of experienced and compassionate lawyers and medical specialists to ensure many children living with cerebral palsy obtain financial support to provide optimal care and support.

If you have questions about the cause of your child’s cerebral palsy and wonder if it could have been prevented had warning signs been detected and responded to more quickly, we are here to help.
