When the MC & DJ are synced… wonderful things will happen 😊

So important as an MC to establish a rapport with the DJ for any event. Making sure to meet up early at the venue, going through the timeline, communicating to each other expectations makes any formal part of the event run as smooth as butter 🧈

And lucky for me I got to work with for a wedding reception, and together we were able to smoothly get through the formal part of the evening, and after that he took over and got the whole place partying 🎧

Things never go according to plan… and that’s completely NORMAL.
Putting together any social event, has so many moving parts and things come up unexpectedly.

And as the host, I have to be able to adapt last minute, and sometimes adapt in the moment.
Whether it’s making last minute changes to speaking notes, because things need adding, taking away or the order of things need to be changed… or sometimes adapting on the fly when I’m in the middle of speaking.

And I proud myself on being adaptable, even to the last second. Anything to ensure I’m delivering for the audience and for my clients 🙂

If you don’t already know, I am happy and honoured to share, that I will once again be the host for the upcoming ‘Hawaiian Shirt Gala’ on September 27th, 2025 at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre in Abbotsford, BC 😊

This will be the 3rd year I have had the pleasure of providing my services to BeMorr Society as they raise money for a cause that is near and dear to my heart… and as this is ‘Men’s Mental Health Month’ wanted to invite you all to take part in a fun evening that includes a gourmet 3-course meal, with fun prizes, entertainment and all at the new fancy venue Clarion Hotel🤩

A trip down memory lane, when I, alongside Kal Kaiben Wheels, saved our brother in-laws wedding back in June 2022.

I, LOVE… Wedding Receptions ❤️

Especially Punjabi Wedding Receptions… of course I am biased because attending many family wedding receptions was a part of growing up. So much fun and so much energy 😊

But doesn’t matter what culture, Wedding Receptions are one of the most happiest fun events anyone can be part of. So the fact that I get to attend and provide my Emcee services, makes me a very lucky Happie Chappie 😁

Like Captain Jack Sparrow, I genuinely love weddings. It’s the reason why I am able to do a good job for my clients for it’s important for the Emcee to set the tone and create a positive welcoming environment for all guests.

I also promise to not be like ‘Michael Scott’ and take over.
The evening is all about the married couple and their family🙂
