فارسی درکامنت-I know that if you’re not Iranian, understanding these circumstances can be incredibly difficult. Perhaps, amid the busyness of everyday life, my words and my pain have made things feel heavier for you, even for a moment.
But from the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who showed me empathy online, at work, and among friends. Thank you for trying to understand my situation, and the situation of us Iranians.
That said, I want to be honest. I was deeply hurt by some individuals or groups who, knowingly or unknowingly, have spread and continue to spread misinformation. I cried. It felt as though the lives of people were treated as so insignificant that the truth could be distorted.
I feel that some have become servants of ideology, rather than remaining loyal to the values they claim to stand for.
We Iranians know very well what we want and what we do not want.
Even as we are still grieving and in shock from the largest massacre of the modern era, we have not given up the fight. But we need help.
On one side are criminals armed to the teeth, who believe they kill in the name of God. On the other side are people with empty hands, armed with nothing but their lives and their courage.
We need help just as America needed help to gain its independence.
Do not leave us alone in our fight for freedom.
