Short on time does not mean ineffective!!!

I had no idea what I was doing, but I definitely knew how much I loved health and wellness and movement and that literally was all I needed to trust myself to just start.

A lot of women quietly struggle with this in midlife.

Drumroll pls….

Being consistent. Staying with something long enough for the change to show up. Being in devotion to the habits instead of relying on shame to motivate us!

And we don’t struggle because they are lazy.

We struggle with staying with something, with being consistent for a few main reason:

1- we are already at full capacity with demands on our time and energy. Careers, kids, aging parents, big changes in life…

2. We want short term gratification and fast results and get discouraged before the real benefits show up.

3. We don’t have a plan or support for all the bumps that are going to arise along the way! A injury, a death in the family, a major incident at work… all these things derail us and we lose the plot and then have to “restart”.

The consistency mindset means there isn’t an all or nothing, on the wagon/off the wagon mentality.

It’s a flow, it’s staying tethered to the goal and adapting the actions instead of forcing them.

It’s a trust. It’s a grounded “I can do this”.
