This is me.

I’m more comfortable observing life than standing in the middle of it. There is safety in watching... in wrapping myself in something soft and looking out from there.

It protects my heart.

But I’ve realized in protecting myself, I have also been missing it all! The awe. The breaking.
The beauty and the chaos that make us feel alive.

I am afraid of stepping forward without armor.

But SafeSpace was never meant to be perfection. It was meant to be honest.

So this is my first step out from under the shadow. If you’ve ever felt safer hiding than living, I see you. And we can learn to live anyway.
