Dilyana majored in law in my native country of Bulgaria, and then realized that law was not fulfilling her aspirations. She felt the need to empower people, to enrich the lives of others in a more meaningful way.
That quest led her to move to Canada. Her story starts here when a friend introduced her to yoga in 2012 and she found out that was a perfect complement to her other spiritual practice. She knew immediately she wanted to share the science of yoga with others.
In 2015, Dilyana obtained the 200 RYS Certification and started teaching in Vancouver. She is founder of Dilyana Yoga private yoga in Vancouver and Rise above Menopause online program
Like many women, I entered perimenopause in an already fatigued and stressed state.
When stress and mood swings began to arise, I was thrown off balance, not realizing what was happening. Luckily, I already had the tools of yoga at my fingertips to help me with this transition.
I adapted my yoga practice to target my symptoms and with further research, along with working with other menopausal women it was proved to me that yoga can help prevent and reduce the common symptoms.

Rise above Menopause is comprehensive and effective step-by-step program that teaches you how prepare to go trough menopause. We will use breath work, meditation, visualisation, positive affirmation and some other yogic tools to keep you balanced and to make you feel happier, more relaxed, and healthier.
We will work together to maintain a cool, calm, collected mindset as we keep our nervous system balanced with relaxation techniques and breathing exercises. We will also use this practice time to maintain strength without overheating the body. This program will carry you gently trough perimenopause and menopause without the next HRT or other unnatural products. I will hold the space for your soul to feel nourished and supported trough all the life experience you have encountered so far and continue to do so.
