Friday the 13th has long been misunderstood. Once honored as a day of feminine wisdom, intuition, and creation, it is asking to be remembered again.

We gather on Friday the 13th as women devoted to study, practice, and embodied growth. To sit side by side. To witness one another. To strengthen the inner foundation the feminine is being asked to hold in this moment.

As what has been hidden rises to the surface, the feminine does not collapse or turn away. She stays. She holds. She remains present with clarity, compassion, and courage.

When women gather with intention, something ancient stirs. Something intelligent awakens. A remembering moves through the body.

This is an invitation into that remembering through The Thirteen Gates - an activation of the dormant potential within.

I work with the places in us that are usually bypassed - the roots of friction, emotional density, and suffering.

I hold spaces where what is out of alignment can be felt, listened to, and restored. Integrity of consciousness, emotions and body is what I’m here to build.

I provoke honesty. My presence invites what has been hidden, half-lived, or held at arm’s length to come forward.

I trust the wisdom of struggle. When we stop resisting it, meaning reveals itself and perseverance becomes devotion. From this place, life reorganizes from the inside out, guided by rhythm rather than force.

My work weaves consciousness-based medicine, embodied practice, emotional alchemy, and collective awareness. These are not modalities I apply. They are expressions of how I live and how I listen.

This work is for those who have a desire to live their fullest life. Unbound, authentic and attuned.

This year, more than others, I felt a deep desire to continue my winter hibernation after the flip of the calendar. My system, like many of us, has been deeply conditioned to see January 1st as a time for action. I remember feeling like I had to dig deep to cultivate the energy needed to execute a grand New Year’s resolution. I can’t count how many times I disappointed myself as I “failed” another attempt at my big January action plan. That failure would instill a deep sense of disappointment within myself, which then snowballed into low confidence and, eventually, low self-love, as my self-worth had been closely tied to success as we’ve been conditioned to define it.

Over the years, I’ve deepened my connection to the rhythm of nature. Nature is still asleep. Nature is not in bloom. Nature is not in action. Nature is in the season of death. Birth comes in the spring, and the full expansion of action comes in the summer. So why are we creating big action now? Why are we struggling against the grain of this planet’s rhythms? Who decided that the dead of winter was the perfect time to fully become a new you?

This winter season has been about rest, rejuvenation, and recovery. As I’ve deepened into listening to my environment instead of trying to control it, I’ve found a sense of peace. I’ve noticed my stress has decreased. My adrenals are happier. My hormones feel more regulated. Go figure. The rhythm of our bodies likes to be in sync with nature.

This isn’t to say there isn’t a part of me that still enjoys some of the traditions of a new calendar year. I love anchoring into a word of the year and setting intentions. I see these practices more like seeds beneath the soil. They’ll begin to sprout in the spring, grow tall in the summer, deepen into wisdom in the fall, and then return to the stillness of embodiment in winter.

So often we cycle through three unconscious positions:

victim • perpetrator • saviour

Freedom comes through what I have termed the 3 R’s:

Recognize
- which role am I in right now?

Reframe
- Use your awareness to step out of the label.

Redirect
- choose curiosity and heart centred communication.

This is how we loosen the grip of old patterns.
This is how we return to self.

The snake has been stripping us down so we can feel what is true again.

Helping create, coordinate, manage, and hold space for The New Human events is an honour that I can hardly describe.

The process behind Interstellar had more moving pieces than you can imagine. I truly don’t know how just the three of us think it all up. Kevin, Heidi, and I play our roles well - we know our strengths and weaknesses, we fill the gaps for each other, and somehow also think as one.

Last year’s event, Regeneration, completely changed my life - true to its name, my entire being went through a total regeneration. And now, I can feel Interstellar working on me deeply. I’m absorbing more light - I can feel it, sense it, and witness it more and more as the days go on. I’m not sure what that’s going to mean for my life this coming year, but I’m excited to find out.

Kevin and Heidi, thank you for being my ride or dies. The changes each event brings are never as scary because I know you’ll both be right there with me on the other side.
I love you both, and thank you for loving me back.

I know that this next year of planning The New Human Re-Union is going to be another epic, life altering journey, and I’m here for it.

Stillness.
Zach Bush spoke about this at The New Human Interstellar.

Grounded. Here. Human.

On this journey towards essentially saving the planet from demise, becoming human before becoming anything more is the medicine.

Zach spoke about the darkness that has engulfed humanity.
Though it can be hard to face, the only way to create more light
is through transmutation of that darkness.

And to transmute it, we have to recognize it.
We have to feel it.

Each time we move through that darkness, it lifts.
Each time we go deep into our emotional realm,
we become more human -
more compassionate, more loving, more alive.

Can we find the courage to step into the uncomfortable places?
Can we find the capacity in our nervous systems to feel the full spectrum of human emotion?

Can we become human -
a species that is in right relationship with the planet,
and with each other?

Can we come out of judgement and into integrity?

If we could find enough stillness in the dark...
could we create the light?
