Join us as we interview community members and local experts to discuss psychosocial, economic, health, and cultural factors. Today, after eight months of hard work and dedication, we officially submitted our docuseries, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share this journey with you all! 🥳

Hi everyone ! We've been quiet on here lately as we are in the very depths of the docuseries. Instead of injecting insulin manually , Insulin pumps are designed to deliver both basal (background) insulin and bolus (mealtime) insulin. Basal insulin is set to be administered at a constant rate throughout the day to maintain stable blood glucose levels between meals and during fasting periods. On the other hand, bolus insulin is delivered at meal times or to correct high blood glucose levels. So do you use a pump?

We aim to bring attention to the often overlooked public health issue of diabetes. The documentary follows a Award winning Certified Diabetes Educator Pharmacist who is dedicated to helping individuals with diabetes in leading fulfilling and healthy lives. Through interviews with inspiring community members living with diabetes, we gain insight into their personal stories and have the opportunity to learn from local experts discussing various aspects such as psychosocial, economic, health, and cultural influences. The series offers a comprehensive look at the challenges of preventing and managing diabetes in a world that is not designed to mitigate them.
