Hi I am back in Victoria, from my outreach tour for CiiAT. this tour comprises of visiting Montreal, Rouyn-Noranda Quebec, Ottawa, and the Koutenays. I was welcomed at UQAT were I was Keynote speaker, and workshop provider. I audited Pascal's class on the Truth and Reconciliation document, and making art around it. I made contact with our Instructor from UQAM in Montreal who will be teaching in Thailand and in Japan in 2019 and while in Ottawa I met with the Canadian Institute of Innovation representative who inquired about CiiAT in China. My travels brought me to KATI, were I audited classes by Christine Reid on various aspects of working with the Aboriginal population and the de colonization effect. I also present the AIAT level 1.
Mixed into all this was a great visit with my family, visiting my youngest twin daughter in Montreal, and shopping for Husky shirts at the arena in Rouyn Noranda for my two hockey playing grandsons was fun. Swimming in my son's pool in Franktown, and in the Ste.Laurence, at my daughter's cottage, having dinner with my grand daughter, daughthers and daughter in law in Ottawa, hanging with one of my twin daughters, and one of my sons and shopping for birthday presents with my grandchildren 9 and 12 in Nelson, the beach in Slocan, was great and I took a dip. Great 6 week trip but now I am glad to be back in Victoria.
