I was listening to a podcast this morning with two end-of-life educators. These two women are my mentors and teachers who are helping to educate myself. In the past year or more, my awareness has moved to how precious our life is and the importance of living and being in the moment. At the end of the podcast Barbara Karnes shared that when she lays down to sleep at night she asks herself the question: What have I done today that I've traded a day of my life for and what was good about today? Where was the JOY in my life today?
I'm going to ask myself these questions starting today.

The Joy could just be something as small as watching a robin, or a squirrel in a tree. Life is precious and appreciating it will make us all live better.
