Meet Bennie!

This sound tool is the newest creation as per the request of Temi, my gong. Temi wanted a specific friend during a gathering the other day and who am I to deny the request? It is a collection of hand harvested shells and driftwood intermixed with lava beads, amethyst and shell beads, all wire wrapped by hand.

I had the chance to include Bennie in a recent Infinite Soul Sound Gathering at Errant Empire a few weeks ago and Bennie was magic. She sounds a bit like rain, a bit like water, and a bit like the stars twinkling. The beings that joined us for the gathering commented on Bennie's potency and ability to help them travel.

I just nourished by inner raven and harvested a whole collection of shells and very personality filled driftwood to make more in various iterations. No two will be the same in style or sound.

This is the month to explore the inner stillness that, no matter what is happening around you, you have access to.

It is that inner well that allows you clarity, presence, and wisdom.
It allows you to see outside yourself while also acknowledging the view from within.

To maintain this inner stillness takes practice, consistent practice. It's easy to apply when you sit alone or amongst the trees; less so when you are in the world and all the unknowns and temptations, and habitual patterns it enforces.

Get honest with yourself. What pulls you sideways? What do you let pull you sideways? What sneaks up and pulls you sideways?

Then go deeper. Ask the further 'whys' and 'hows'. Then go deeper again and repeat.

The key - be honest.

Feel the release. Your stillpoint lies on the other side.

Come to the house of your energy with new light. Come to the house of your energy with a clear view of your state of balance, of your frequencies of reciprocal energy.

This is an energy that flows, that perpetuates itself, that never feels low, or too much, but just right.

It's the forever energy within that when fed by your life, your desires, your relationships, keeps going. Never too much. Never too little. No burn out on either end.

Look within you for the leaks, like little pinholes of the stars showing through, your light emerging but never being fed.

Look to this core self and ask - what do I need to know to be able to access this next level of my discovery?

Then lean in and listen...where do you hear the energy escaping?

It is in the tone of your voice, in the sigh of your shoulder, the shudder of your nervous system.

To reclaim your current is to remember your boundaries, to be clear on what feeds you, what fuels you and what feeds from you.

Reciprocal doesn't mean 50/50. It means balance. What does this mean to you?

Where are you leaking (giving away energy without realizing it)?

Where are you feeding (giving away energy and realizing it)?

Where are you being fed (energy is being returned to you)?

Recognize your part in the cycle. Know your place in the perpetuality.
Feel your stance shift.
Come back to solid ground.

And be returned to a state of balance and reciprocity.

You feel like you're spinning. Unable to stop.

You feel ungrounded.
Chaotic.
Spread too thin.

But to stop would set you up for failure, everything would crumble.

Or would it?

You've been told that to succeed you must keep moving.

To be worthy, you must be productive.

You've listened to this. Embodied it. Lived it.

And you're tired.
Spent.
Left questioning.

You begin to wonder "Who created this definition of productive, this one that leaves me feeling so drained? What if I chose to created my own definition?"

But you don't know where to start and honestly, you're tired.

So you pause, just briefly, enough to catch your breath, and this is where you feel the glimmer.

In the stillness, your breath deepens, your heart explores, and your mind sees into the potential of the divine world around and within you.

This is where answers are found, experienced. This is where you begin to create your own definitions - the ones that feel like Home, that bring back the spark, and remind you that yes, you do have a choice.

It's time to give yourself permission to be still, to create the space for the answers to be found.

The piece of you that is Divine connects you to the stars. It connects you to the Collective. It connects you to all the aspects of you that travel through the timelines. It is the Knowing piece. The intuitive piece. The pieces of frequency that hum through you, power you, open you.

It is the vessel that allows you presence to all that is Divine. It is the space to connect the Earth to the Sky, the present to the all and everything.
