Thank you to everyone who attended our recent event - Insight into Ocular Prostheses: The Personal and Professional Perspective of an Ocularist! 👁🦮👨🏻‍🦯

We had the fantastic opportunity to hear Elisabelle, a brilliant ocularist, speak about her important work & passion for creating eye prostheses. Her artistic talents serve numerous purposes, such as restoring eye appearance, which comforts clients requiring her services.

Next, we heard the lived experiences of John, who discussed the importance of inclusivity and accessibility as integral to acceptance and functionality. When asked about his lessons for future healthcare workers, he said, "Treat your patients as people."
