Chronic conditions have the potential to impact every aspect of your life. In our workshops, we explore the concept of being a member of your healthcare team (you, your caregivers, loved ones, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, RMTs, etc.).

You'll learn how to work with this team to develop small, manageable plans to support you to gain control of your chronic condition.

For more information and/or to register for the next Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions workshop session call 705-717-4744, email dsm@sgbchc.ca, or visit www.nsmselfmanagement.ca

If you've participated in one of our Living a Healthy Life workshops, you'll know how important it is to practice the skills from your self-management toolbox. One of these skills is Understanding Emotions.

When you're living with a chronic health condition or chronic pain, it becomes even more important to learn ways to manage difficult emotions.

In our Living a Healthy Life workshops, participants spend time understanding why difficult emotions come up, and brainstorming tactics to manage these emotions.
