Assistance for a patient in Barcelona
On January 5th 2019, we received a call from an American man traveling to Barcelona with his family. It was 9pm local time, his daughter was having cough and fever and they did not know how to speak Spanish. We asked for his exact address and for his credit card information. We reached our local English speaking doctor. He went to their home to visit the little girl one hour later and gave a prescription, so the father could go pick up the medication at the pharmacy nearby. We emailed the receipt to the father and a medical report to be reimbursed by his insurance.
