To the parents holding so much with such loving hands 💛
In the rush of everyday life—packing lunches, managing schedules, calming big emotions (theirs and our own)—it’s easy to forget how much we carry. Children feel this too. They absorb our pace, our stress, our expectations, even when we try to shield them from it.
Children’s yoga and meditation isn’t about perfect poses or sitting still. It’s about giving kids permission to pause. To breathe. To move their bodies in ways that feel good. To learn that their feelings are safe, their energy is important, and they have tools within them to find calm again.
When we teach children how to slow down, we’re also reminding ourselves.
When we give them space to release what no longer serves them, we create space in our own hearts too.
May your hands be so full of love, presence, and connection that there’s no room left for worry, guilt, or the pressure to do it all perfectly. You are doing enough. Your child is exactly where they need to be.
