White Rock Princess Party

From 2010-2017, in partnership with the White Rock Firefighters, the White Rock Princess Party raised funds for an All Abilities Playground on East Beach. Founded by Myra Merkal, she passed along the magic wand to Peace Arch Hospital Foundation in 2018 to carry on her legacy. Today, we’re evolving the party to include not only well-loved fairy tale characters but also superheroes to inspire children that anything is possible. This event supports the Foundation’s new Generations Playground that opened in Ruth Johnson Park next to Centennial Arena in 2018. For more than 30 years, Peace Arch Hospital Foundation has been raising funds and awareness to enhance the health and wellness of the South Surrey/White Rock community. In that time, we have raised more than $140 million for investment in Peace Arch Hospital and community health initiatives. From state-of-the-art medical equipment and capital projects like renovations and site expansions to programs that promote and encourage a healthier community for all, our fundraising efforts go towards ensuring quality health care is available, close to home, for everyone and that we live in the healthiest community possible.
