Remember my last post when I said Jack had pneumonia and avoided the hospital in October...

Well, we weren't so lucky this time.
One minute he was fine and the next he wasn't.
Our last admission was Nov 29, 2024- at least we made it just over 365 days this time, right ?!

Here's hoping to a speedy recovery 🙏

Oops!

Life got busy and I may or may not have posted anything in almost 4 months 😬

Jack is growing like a w**d.

1. Health is okay. He had his first round of pneumonia in October- we thankfully avoided the 🏨.
2. Seizures are currently under better control 🙏( we really hate epilepsy)
3.Lost his first tooth this week!
4. He got a new pair of AFOS( check out the size difference in a picture below!)

Jack started in a new classroom this year and is doing fantastic at school!
He added a new word to his vocabulary-Elmo!

Looking for a Respite Worker to add to Jacks team!

Hey friends! I’m currently looking for a respite worker to help care for Jack when needed. He’s visually impaired, fully dependent, globally delayed and needs someone who’s caring, patient, and reliable.

Here’s a bit more about what we need:

Must be comfortable with epilepsy and g-tube feeding

Able to lift/carry 35+ lbs

Experience with complex needs is a big plus! ( not required though)

This would be a casual position

We’re in the re*****on park area

Paid position- hourly rate to be discussed.

Light housework required

My son is a sweet kid with a beautiful spirit, and we’re looking for someone who can connect with him and provide safe, attentive care.

Jack is rockin' his socks for world down syndrome day!

We also picked up some yellow/blue sprinkle cupcakes from Staci Bakes 😋😋
She is donating a dollar from every cupcake(blue/yellow sprinkle) to Windsor Down Syndrome Association !

They're open until 6 pm if you're looking for a yummy treat and to support locally :)
