Please give this lady a BIG 🙌
Being your best, healthy self isn’t always about what SIZE you are, but this is pretty damn cool.
Imagine keeping your wedding dress from 10 years ago, trying it on, and it FITS.
How cool of a feeling would that be??
That’s why we gotta give a huge high-five to Colleen, a member now for just over 3 years, who hit this neat little milestone last month.
Back in 2023, she came to us after retiring recently, and wanted to get into shape and be strong and healthy in retirement years.
She loves to travel and didn’t want to miss out on adventures with hubby (and member) Dave.
In the beginning, it was mostly a focus on reducing pain, improving strength, and adding muscle to her body.
Then, more recently, the focus was on improving eating habits and body composition.
And so she has!
She paired Weight Watchers with her training, and the inches have really melted off.
So much in fact, that she was curious about the dress still fitting and went ahead and put it back on - much to her delight
Her food and workout changes were nothing drastically different.
Just mindful, reasonable food choices with a consistent attendance to her gym sessions and trying to progress her strength week over week.
That’s all there is to it.
Reasonable eating. Challenging weight training. Day after day, week after week, year after year.
