With your generosity, the BTHC Foundation has purchased a specialized neuro chair for the Rehabilitation Services Department at BTHC. This equipment supports early recovery and mobility, helping patients safely get out of bed after serious or sudden health problems, such as a stroke.
This chair allows acutely ill patients transferred to BTHC to begin moving sooner, enhancing recovery and improving the flow of patients in and out of hospital bed, creating space for new admissions. Until now, BTHC did not have the specialized equipment needed to support this level of progressive rehabilitation.
The chair also supports BTHC staff by making patient transfers and transport easier. Patients can now continue their recovery safely and begin rehabilitation closer to home, sooner than before. . The Rehabilitation Services team is very grateful for this new addition. Thank you to our donors for making it possible! ❤
