This Sunday's Service at 11:11 is dedicated to celebrating your Mama, partner or anyone you love by sharing in the gift of touch. Touch plays such a vital role in our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and we need it for survival. In this touch-deprived world that has been recently plagued by quarantine and isolation, now more than ever, this valuable gift is something we can all use to deepen and strengthen our connection with one another. And the best part about it is its free to give (with consent of course).
1) Connect with a partner
2) Devote at least 1.5 to 2 hours so that you can give and receive the gift of touch. We'll spend the first half hour doing a brief introduction and warming up our bodies to prepare for the practice.
3) Wear loose pants or loose shorts. Tanktops or long sleeves will work as well.
4) Create a comfortable space by using a comfy mat or layering several yoga mats together, use several pillows, bolsters, blankets, props, essental oils (optional), and anything that you need to make the experience as comfortable as possible and ensure that each is accessible and readily available for you to grab at any moment. It's better to have too many props then too little.
5) Be open minded, open hearted, and very patient. Touch can be a very sensitive subject for a lot of people, so know that pure loving intention, slow loving movement, and open communication is key to this exchange.
6) Zoom room opens 30 minutes prior if you have any questions regarding set-up.
If you have any questions, pease feel free to reach out via email namaslaywpg@gmail.com or feel free to send us a dm here on FB.
Thank you everyone! We are looking forward to sharing the gift of touch with all of you.
Namaste!
