Here’s what I’ve been up to the last few months:

🎓I graduated from university with a Bachelors of Science in Psychiatric Nursing and got a full time job as a psych nurse at SMHC

💍got married to my best friend during a pandemic that was causing us to constantly change plans, and have a lot of last minute plans. Aside from all the rain on our day, it was amazing🥰

🧶working on some customs blanket orders, etc

The plan is to now focus on some fall/winter items. Likely with my schedule working full time+ I won’t be at any markets again this winter, and I may be a little slower to get orders out. I’m hoping to get a couple patterns or kits together for people, and to start up the beanies for MSP initiative again- it was incredibly successful last year having donated over 140 toques.

Every Child Matters🧡

100% if the profits from each orange hand-dyed scrunchie sold will be going to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS). They are $10 each and can be ordered through link in bio.

Over 150,000 Indigenous children were taken from their families. 90-100% suffered mental, physical, emotional and sexual abuse. There was a 40-60% mortality rate. This isn’t something in our past. The last residential school closed in 1996. There is still a significant amount of intergenerational trauma, discrimination, and systemic racism within Canada. Mass graves and unmarked graves of thousands of children have been found and will continue to be found at residential school sites. These are murders, and the families and communities need a place to speak, to grieve and to heal.

Spring/Moving Sale💐

I have so much stock that is either out of season, or just too much of a colour of scrunchies, etc. I’m moving, and want to limit clutter where I can, so I will be putting it all on sale this weekend! 🙌🏼
