Time Change & Your Sleep: What You Need to Know

Twice a year, the clocks change—and our bodies notice. Whether we “spring forward” or “fall back,” this shift can disrupt your natural circadian rhythm, leaving you feeling tired, foggy, or unbalanced.

Why does this happen?
Your internal clock thrives on consistency. When time changes abruptly, your body needs a few days to adjust.

Here are simple ways to support your sleep during the transition:
✅ Stick to your normal bedtime when possible
✅ Expose yourself to natural daylight to help reset your internal clock
✅ Avoid caffeine and heavy meals late in the evening
✅ Enjoy a calming herbal tea like chamomile or lemon balm
✅ Practice gentle relaxation techniques before bed—such as breathing exercises, meditation, or light stretching

Be patient with your body—it’s doing its best to recalibrate. A few mindful habits can make all the difference in how you feel this week.
