The Functional Foods and Natural Health Products Graduate Research Symposium (FFNHP) originated in 2010 by the University of Manitoba’s Human Nutritional Sciences Graduate Student Association. The symposium was originally established to showcase graduate research at the University of Manitoba. It has expanded with much success over the past few years and is now an inter-provincial event as part of the NSERC CREATE Food Advancement through Science and Training (FAST) program which is a multidisciplinary program in Canada.
