Yesterday, we told you about Adaora — the 10-year-old girl who stayed behind after class to share her handwritten story.

What began as one child’s spark soon turned into a movement.

When we shared Adaora’s story with our tutors, something beautiful happened: more children began showing interest in writing — poems, short stories, even letters to their parents back home.
It wasn’t just about writing anymore — it was about belonging.

And that’s how the League of Pen Pushers was born —
a creative writing club by Ivoryland Support, where children are encouraged to dream, write, and express their identity through words.

Through guided storytelling, fun writing prompts, and mentorship, our learners are rediscovering the power of their voice — not just in English, but in the rhythm of their roots.

It all started with a blank page.

One Saturday afternoon, during our free online class, a 10-year-old girl named Adaora stayed behind after the session.

She didn’t want to log off just yet.

When her tutor asked why, she smiled shyly and said,

“Miss, can I show you the story I’m writing?”

Her notebook appeared on the screen — half-filled with words about a brave young girl who wanted to build her village a library.
The spelling wasn’t perfect, but the dream was loud and clear.

That short exchange reminded us that learning isn’t just about tests or grades — it’s about expression, voice, and imagination.

Over time, we began noticing more “Adao­ras” in our classes — children who didn’t just want to learn but wanted to create.

What happened next changed everything for our tutors... and gave birth to something we never planned but always needed.
