If you have been to the clinic lately you would have noticed our signs for a small price increase beginning May 1st.
I’ve also opened a few more appts during the week of May 23rd, which are my last openings currently for May and into early June.
Also a little reminder that I do have a cancellation list, which priority is given to returning patients or new patients who are in acute pain. Feel free to reach out directly if you ever want to be added. I always do my very best to get you all in.

🧠 I’ve been so excited to announce I will have a new treatment option available in early spring - Concussion Rehab from an osteopathic perspective.
Concussion rehab focuses on REDUCING your symptoms through a structural treatment approach. Many people who get a concussion easily slip through the cracks for treatment in our current medical system. My goal is to fill that crack and get you back to your normal functioning self.
I’ve been busy reviewing and studying Melissa Biscardi’s ‘Concussion Rehab Accelerator’ course online. You can view what Melissa is up to by following her at .rehab.lab. She is so full of knowledge!
Please note, I still welcome post concussion syndrome patients, as always. The new treatment option will just go into much more detail of assessment and treatment specific to your concussion needs.

Happy New Year everyone!
With the new year here, many people are setting intensions and goals for the months ahead.
Just a reminder to set time for yourself and your own self care. We can’t give with our whole being if our cup is half full.
You can see an osteopath for something specific, like a sore back, concussion symptoms, etc., as well as for general maintenance.

The best sentence about osteopathy…maybe ever?
Little clinic update:
I’ll be returning to the clinic tomorrow and I’m open Wednesday - Friday this week for a few last minute appointments before we all ring in the new year.
All appointments are currently booked. But the waitlist is always available.

My first clinic update via email was just sent a few minutes ago - watch your inbox and junk mail. :)
My plan is to only send a few updates like this a year. It’s primary for clinic changes/updates, Covid updates and other little things related to the clinic, as it’s the easiest way to relay information to everyone in one format.

A few notes below for the first official Truth and Reconciliation day - Thursday, September 30th.
The clinic will remain open this year until 2:30pm.
To honour the lives lost, the survivors and the people who are still dealing with the effects from the residential schools I am donating 20% of my income to a charity focusing on indigenous peoples support.
If anyone has any recommendations - please send them my way.

🗺 I hope everyone has had a beautiful week so far. How lucky are most of us to live in this beautiful little province of Nova Scotia?
For anyone who needs to hear this - preventative osteopathic treatments are sometimes the bees knees.
What do I mean by this?
Just like we get a ‘tune up’ or oil change for our car, an Osteopath can do that for your body. We give it a good look over to make sure all the joints and tissue are in proper alignment and function.
🦾 Don’t wait until your car malfunctions to call your Osteo.

Congratulations to the CAO grads of 2020!

Grad was originally scheduled for November 2020 before the pandemic hit. They managed a small outdoor grad ceremony this past weekend in Hamilton, which I was unfortunately unable to attend.

In honour of grad and this past weekend I wanted to send a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who has supported me throughout my 4.5 years at the CAO and a big thank you to everyone who continues to support me on my never ending journey to develop my skills for this amazing thing called Osteopathy.
