Birth: The Ultimate Psychedelic Journey

No plant. No brew. No ceremony.
Nothing will ever open you the way birth does.

Giving birth is the most potent psychedelic experience a human can undergo.
Not because it takes you out of your body (although a debatable topic for many as we retrieve our child’s soul from the ethers) — but because it demands your full presence inside it.
It is ego death and soul awakening in the same breath.
It is pain and bliss and time folding in on itself.

There is no external medicine that compares to the medicine of birth.

Because you are the medicine.
Your body, your hormones, your voice, your breath —
a sacred chemical storm designed to shatter you and stitch you into something new.

And here’s the thing:
The journey doesn’t end once the baby is born.
The wisdom of birth keeps unfolding for years — in whispers, in waves, in grief, in beauty.

If you let it…
Birth will keep showing you where you’ve hardened.
Where you need to soften.
What you still fear.
Where you’re still trying to control.

It will peel you.
Stretch you.
Remake you.

And if you choose to surrender to it — again and again —
you’ll find that birth is not a single day.
It’s a portal.
One that keeps opening you to deeper truth, deeper love, deeper Self.

Birth is not just how your child came earthside.
It’s how you became initiated into the wildest medicine of all:
Motherhood.

So many mothers silently carry scary, unwanted thoughts after birth.
“Why did that image flash in my mind?”
“What if something bad happens?”
“Am I a danger… or just broken?”
“Am I f***ed up? Am I bad? Should I be a mother?”

You’re not alone — and you’re not crazy.
These thoughts are not your truth. They’re a signal, not a sentence.
A sign that your nervous system is overloaded.
That your hormones are recalibrating.
That your soul is adjusting to the magnitude of motherhood.

Intrusive thoughts are common — but when we push them down, they tend to grow louder.
Healing starts when we name them, share them, and get curious about them.

What may help:
🌿 Speaking them out loud to someone safe
🌿 Grounding through your senses (bare feet, a warm bath, a weighted blanket)
🌿 Asking: What is this thought trying to protect me from?

This is not a reflection of who you are — it’s a reflection of what you’ve been through.
You are worthy of support, safety, and softness in this season.

You didn’t lose yourself in motherhood.
You outgrew an identity that could no longer hold the fullness of who you are becoming.

Too often, postpartum is framed as a temporary detour — a foggy phase to get through until you’re “back to normal.” But what if the truth is this:
There is no going back. Only deepening. Only becoming.

This time is sacred, even when it’s messy.
Even when you feel lost, raw, or unrecognizable.
You are shedding the skin of who you once were — and it’s uncomfortable because you’re becoming more of yourself, not less.

✨ Your nervous system is recalibrating.
✨ Your spirit is adjusting to new frequencies.
✨ Your body is weaving together new wisdom.

Postpartum is a rite of passage — not a recovery project.

Give yourself permission to:
🌿 Mourn the version of you that is no longer here.
🌿 Celebrate the quiet, wild emergence of the new you.
🌿 Slow down enough to listen to what this version of you needs.

This is not about bouncing back.
This is about rising different.
More rooted. More intuitive. More whole.

You are not behind. You are not broken. You are becoming.

In the early days of motherhood, it’s easy to believe that staying strong means staying silent. But emotional suppression isn’t strength — it’s survival mode. And you deserve more than survival.

Postpartum emotions aren’t just “hormonal” — they’re signals. They’re messengers from the nervous system asking for care, safety, and release. Whether it’s sadness, rage, fear, or grief — you’re not broken for feeling deeply.

Healing starts when you let yourself feel — in safe, supportive spaces that hold you, not judge you.

This is your permission to stop bottling it up. To feel it. To free it. To find safety in your own nervous system again.

You were never meant to do this alone. 💛
