New things are manifesting in this space.
I have been learning about soundmassages and sound yoga a lot lately.
And I have long been waiting for the day that I could invest into my first set of singing bowls.
And now here they are!

I will take the summer to get to know my 6 new singing bowls and practice with them.
So that when summer ends I hope to be able to share their healing potential with you, to offer sound massages and soundyoga.

🔵Sill talking about the upper back and how to keep it happy 🔵
So this is post Number 3 on this subject.
In the last two post I wrote about opening and stretching your upper back and chest, to release any tension that might be causing you pain💥
☝️Now if you got rid of the pain this easy, then you want it to stay away…
Or if you still feel pain…
The next step (in both scenarios) is strengthening. Because the pain in the upper back mostly comes
from a disbalance between the muscle tension in your upper back and chest. If one side is pulling
stronger than the other, that can put a lot of stain in the joints, ligaments and connecting tissue.
👀Looking back at the thesis that most of the dis-ease in our upper back comes from a mostly bend
forward posture that we take during the day, the solution is strengthening your back muscles, so that
they naturally pull you up, opening your chest again.⬅️⬆️
🗝This is a big key to a healthy back! 💪To strengthen it will help you to a heathy, upright position that will
help to release pain in your upper back, and it will also aid your overall spinal health, protecting the
discs and vertebras by taking pressure of them💪
🤷🏽‍♀‍So I know that back strengthening might not be the favourite part of your yoga practice but I want to
underline here that it is important and worth the hassle☝️
To strengthen your back you can do the asana shown in my pictureplus Chair pose, warrior 3 with outstretched arms to the front or sides, or any other arm or leg raises when you lay on your front side.

😌For a healthy back and neck 2.0😌
So today I want to continue from where I left in my last asana post⬅️.
So we are looking for ways here to release the upper back and neck region, which has huge potential to be a rather cranky part of our body, do to our day to day postures, that are not really natural for us (like looking down on our phone)
In my last post I suggested what is always the first step for me if I have neck pain. To stretch it out (you can read all about that on my last asana post)
But sometimes that is not enough. So I will go one step further today.
There can be another cause for our neck😌
So today I want to continue from where I left in my last asana post.
So we are looking for ways here to release the upper back and neck region, which has huge potential to be a rather cranky part of our body, do to our day to day postures, that are not really natural for us (like looking down on our phone)
In my last post I suggested what is always the first step for me if I have neck pain. To stretch it out (you can read all about that on my last asana post)
But sometimes that is not enough. So I will go one step further today.
There can be another cause for our neck and upper back to be tense and painful.
And that's the shortened muscles in the chest. Because as our posture tilts forward more and more the chest muscles shorten and can thus not provide the length anymore that would be needed for an upright posture, with an open chest.
The actuallissue here is that the chest muscles connect directly to to shoulders and with that to the shoulder blades and their fascia stretches right into the upper back and arms. So short chats muscles not only means more unhealthy posture but also unnatural tension to the shoulders and shoulder blades.
And once they are unhappy, the whole back and neck is soon to follow.
So...stretch it out 💪🤭
Open your chest, your heart space💚😊
You can do this with my two shown asanas, or also with wheel pose, camel pose, any back strengtheners, any heart opening, reverse worrier 1 and 2, etc...
There are so many ways to consciously move and heal your body... take up that responsibility it will save you pain and painkillers.

Stepping into your beauty
What is your Dharma (purpose)? What are you on this earth for?
Do you know your Dharma?
Or is this kinda the one question you navigate around all the time?
I get you. I was there too. So let me share something important with you:
Would you believe that the biggest step for me was not to find out what my Dharma was, but to actually realise that I had the grandness to live up to it?
Cause lets face it, deep down you know what your thing is...its the one thing that has always been there, the constant thought, action, hobby in your life. The one thing you still tell yourself you can't do, because society won't approve, or money will not be enough, or it's just not supposed to be. That one thing that knocks on you consciousness every now and then and pleads for attention.
That thing!
That's your Dharma.
And you know what?
You have all the resources you could ever need to live up to it.
Cause...thats all you are here for. What else could you ever really be prepared for that you thing, your Dharma?
And a nice side effect of living your Dharma is that you will inevitably also fing your eternal joy ☀
So come on...give in...devote to that one thing.

Ashva-Ratna-Mudra
Fire element, 3. chakra
The mudra of the horse that is crowned with jewels.
The windhorse with jewels is found in the Indian mythology, the Tibetan tradition and the east and central asian shamanism. The windhorse symbolises the pure being, the soul. The gemstones promise wealth and harmony, while taking away any suffering.
Not surprising then that this Mudra helps you achieve just that.
It helps you get rid of negative behaviour patterns and narrow mindedness and thus opens the mind up towards new possibilities and perspectives.
Changing perspective and realising new opportunities means you are moving, flowing. And in that flow wealth and health will come to you.
As this is still a fire Mudra it also stimulates your digestive fire (Agni) around the solar plexus and thus improves digestion and blood circulation.
How to ?
1️⃣Bring your palms to touch
2️⃣spread the fingers out
3️⃣fold the left index finger over the right
4️⃣fold the left middle finger over the right
5️⃣practice this while seated in meditation

Fire-Element, 3. Chakra
So today the Mudra series starts.
And I will start with a few Mudras that stimulate your fire Element and work with your Manipura Chakra.
The Element of fire is the force of change and vitality in our world.
Agni (fire) comes in the form of light, warmth or heat and force in the physical world and gives us bravery, power of will, selfworth and the strength to make decisions on the mental plain...All aspects that the Manupira chakra is responsible for in our being. So today's Mudra (Agni Mudra) isolates the fire aspects from all the others (the thumb is lifted away from all other fingers) and allows it to flow and work freely.
Because of that this Mudra enhances your power of will and self confidence, while boosting your vitality and enthusiasm. It also helps you to center and focus your energy.
Activating Agni is always very good if you need to activate you digestion and metabolism
This Mudra can be held in a seated position during meditation.

Mudras - the basics
So what are Mudras and how do they work?
Mudras are like asanas for your hands. Just like you bend your body into an asana to get certain energies flowing, you touch certain fingers to do just the same!
Quite hard to imagine right?
Let me tell you how it works.
In Yoga each finger (and the palm) is connected to an element in your body, and stimulates one of the seven main chakras (not the crown tho)
Thumb: Fire, Manipura
Index : 🌬 Air, Anahata
Middle: Ether, Vishuddha
Ring: Earth, Muladhara
Little: Water, Swadhisthana
Palm: Mind, Anja

So now you know the Mudras work with you physical and you energy body and thus can help to heal both. Healing always happens when harmony and balance are found between the elements and the chakras.
Mudras can help you establish that harmony by enhancing, reducing or stabilising the elements and chakras.
2️⃣pic : touching the tip of a finger will stabilise its aspects
3️⃣pic: touching the upper outside part of a finger will reduce its aspects
4️⃣pic: touching the root of a finger will enhance the certain aspect.

Connected to the elements and chakras each finger also influences certain emotional and physical states.
But I will digg into that in the following posts.

🤸‍♀️Virabhadrasana 2 - warrior 2🤸‍♂️
An asana that is great to transition into almost any other asana, I feel, but also very powerful if enjoyed and held for a while.
The warrior poses and their variations are all about strength and determination, body and mind.
This one particularly will strengthen your arms, shoulders and quads.
It opens your chest and hips.
Mentally it will increase your endurance and focus. It will teach you to fight and stay present with your goals.
It will helps you connect to mother earth and root down into her endless strength and stability.
Its is also great to engage your Mula Bandha and belly muscles here that will activate your lower chakras and add to the stability of body and mind.
Make sure to press both feed firmly into the ground ⬇️ the front knee is over the ankle and the knee is slights pushed towards the outside of your mat. That will ensure a nice opening in your hips make sure your shoulders are relaxed ⬇️, arms nice and long ↔️ put you gaze on your front fingertips ➡️ or the point between hour eyebrows.

💗Forward with trust and upwards with love 💗
🤭Oh beautiful people I must say I am almost speechless about the current situation in Europ.
I live in switzerland where now all public facilities are closed, I even have to cancel all my classes.
There are a million reasons why we got to this devastating point of fear and overreaction.
But there is just one way out of it.
Forward and up ❣ I know everyone is now either panicking or angry about those that do.
But I am very sure that the situation is good and very meant to be. Change needed to come, and since humans can be quite resistant to spiritual growth and lessons it had to come the heard way.
Trust me, when I say everything will be okay, most likely better than before ☀️🙏
We get the chance now to draw back, to turn a nudge down.
We get the chance to point our focus back a little more on our roots and home, on all it provides naturally, food, nature, people... We are invited to take the time to look within, to reflect and grow without day to day live disturbing us.
I am telling you, take this opportunity to grow and let go.
Let go of fear, let go of media controlled thinking. Free yourself!! Take the chance to trust and move on.
And if you wanna go there take the chance to help humanity heal. What we need now is love!
Fear is loves biggest enemy and will therefore always be our hardest lesson to learn.
Put your gaze on love, practice gratitude and understanding, look after yourself and others.
Instead of being separated by quarantine, find the opportunity the reconnect in love and hope and union.
Open your hearts people, cause this is the only way out of this.
Forward with trust and upwards with love 🙏💗

🤸‍♀️Virabhadrasana 1 - warrior 1🤸‍♂️
Teaching Vinyasa Flow makes this asana and its variations dear friends to me. It is a posture that cultivates so many things ☀️💪
It gives you strength, inside and out.
Strengthens your heart, your muscles, your balance, your endurance and your will power.
Take time to take a few deep breaths in this asana, that will cleanse the mind, clear your thoughts and enhance concentration and an overall feeling of optimism towards the future.
In combination with Mula Bhanda the warrior 1 will help you ground your roods and strengthen your connection to mother earth, thus will help you manifest her patient and strong energies more in your life.
I really wanna recommend to be brave and hold this asana for a while. It will make you feel healthy and beautiful and strong. ⚠️Make sure your feet are strongly rooted⬇️ and your legs active, thighs pulling towards each other➡️⬅️. From the hips up, everything stretches towards the sky⬆️, apart from the shoulders, firmly pull them down⬇️.
Make sure you breath consciously and enjoy your power💪🥰
