We invite you to join us for A Luminous Journey Into Music as Medicine, a sacred concert experience with Aykanna, offered for the Geneva Human Experience community.
As longtime practitioners on the yogic path, Aykanna’s music is rooted in over two decades of deep spiritual practice, devotion, and healing work—as parents, householders, and a couple.
Pauline & Akah began their journey in the mainstream music scenes of New York and London, where they earned Billboard acclaim and Grammy nominations. But the hustle of the industry left them unfulfilled. Their path shifted through the discovery of Kundalini Yoga, mantra, and the ancient rhythms of the drum —a journey that led them out of personal darkness and into a life of service, creativity and connection.

Hey Friends,
It’s a joyful moment to share with you our new album, The Journey Is Gold. A collection of songs we hope will uplift your spirit, support your practices and teachings, and become a sacred soundtrack for your journey through life. Let this be a reminder that there is gold... even in the darkest of times.
This is our first album in six years! yes, it’s been a minute. And I can say with all my heart: every note, every word was poured from the deepest well of love and presence mostly in the early morning hours as I sat quiet after sunrise.
As we’ve all witnessed the world change these past few years, each song became a prayer, a call for peace within my own heart, my family and our global family.
We worked with Joby Baker on this album who was introduced to us by our friend Michael from Shanti Sounds many years ago. Joby also happens to have produced every Deva & Miten album! He's incredible.
Most of the tracks were recorded in our Yoga Shala here in Costa Rica and we converted our little side closet into a vocal booth! Very reminiscent of our first album "Livelight" in Topanga Canyon in 2008 where we would sing in the closet and clothes would fall on me as I would sing and try to play guitar!
