🇲🇽 Los Gatos Salvajes Dän and Maju! Their origin comes from otomí, since in the state of Querétaro there are Hñähñü indigenous groups that speak this language, seeking in this way to enhance the roots and cultural richness of the state. Dän and Maju, are an important part of the elements of university identity, being present in academic, cultural and sporting events, adding to the importance of the University in its educational work and training of professionals and better Mexicans citizens.

🇨🇦The Gaiter! George B. McClintock '49 who originally suggested "Gators" after the alligator, which is a "tough and formidable foe when aroused, capable of swift and decisive action in an emergency". However, by using a play on words, the name spelled "Gaiters" seemed more appropriate for an Anglican College. Gaiters were an article of ecclesiastical clothing which covered part of the wearer's shoes and lower legs.These were worn by Bishops.

🇨🇦TRUE BLUE is the official mascot of the Varsity Blues. He appears at all home football games and select men's and women's basketball, volleyball and hockey home games. In addition, True Blue makes appearances at various on-campus and community functions as an ambassador for the University of Toronto's athletic department.

🇨🇦The greatest admirer of the Laval University Rouge et Or teams is undoubtedly VICTOR, the official mascot of the program. He is a loyal and diligent spectator and attends most of the Rouge et Or competitions at home. The name Victor evokes both victory and the Rouge et Or. It symbolizes the majestic and strong eagle whose alerion is the official animal emblem of Laval University.

🇲🇽KUAKO, the Mexican C**t is in all university sports disciplines of UAEM. Ricardo Arturo Servín Alba has contributed to make Kuako alive for 21 years. He was 36 years old when he started as a mascot, now he is 57 years old. 👏👏

🇩🇪BERTI, the BERG-ische trainings idol is the mascot of the University Sports Center of Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Germany. Lions epitomize strength, agility, bravery, confidence and willpower. As such, BERTI represents a powerful idol of sporting motivation and encouragement during an array of events, such as the Uni Run, in tournaments, during health weeks or the fresher week for the students of the first semester. In doing so, he raises many a smile on the faces of students and staff of the University, alike.

Like all lynxes, the face of the Iberian Lynx is adorned with a necklace of long hair around the neck and triangular ears topped by a tuft of black hair. It has only 28 teeth instead of the usual 30 in felines. The Iberian Lynx has a much more mottled coat than other species of the genus Lynx.
