At the crossroads of science, technology and art, the Center for Biomedical Imaging (CIBM) in Lausanne is leading a pioneering project that brings important insights into healthcare clowning.

For the first time, this project will be presented at HCIM 2026.
We are honoured to welcome:
• Pina Marziliano, Ph.D., Director of the CIBM
• Solange Denervaud, Ph.D., Developmental Cognitive Neuroscientist at the CIBM

Together with their team, they explore how neuroscience and healthcare clowning can meet to create new ways of understanding and connecting.
